Sounds of Summer!

The Dragon Band and Carroll Guard began their Sounds of Summer rehearsal series on ​June 12th. The Sounds of Summer is an opportunity for Dragon Band students to keep their skills sharp, and get a head-start on their music for the upcoming fall marching season.

These musicians spent a part of the rehearsal reading through their parts as a group. They then divided into brass and wood​​wind sectionals, led by Mr. Barnard and Mr. Johnson, respectively, as the colorguard worked on fundamentals in the gymnasium. ​​

The two remaining Sounds of Summer rehearsals will take place on Monday, July 12th and Tuesday, July 25th. Rehearsals are from 5pm-7pm at the Carroll HS Band Hall, 800 North White Chapel Blvd in Southlake.
