Mark your calendars for Friday, September 10, the day of our first home game in the newly renovated stadium for our 3rd Annual Band Family Tailgate Party!  This event is for the entire band family:  students, parents, siblings, distant family members - you name it!  Come enjoy burgers and hot dogs while getting an opportunity to meet the families of our wonderful band members.  The event starts at 5 PM, in the west fenced in parking lot behind the scoreboard, and will end at 6:30 PM, so we can move into the stadium.

And speaking of scoreboards, this will be the first game with the largest scoreboard in Texas!  And for us, there will be a special event held in the same parking lot at 6:15 PM while we are tailgating.  This will prove to be a wonderful moment in Dragon Band history, and you won't want to miss it!  It will be a LARGE EVENT...and very green as well!  Be there to see something unveiled we can all be proud of!  The band will be performing for this as well!  Stay tuned for more details!

The General Band Booster Meeting originally scheduled for Tuesday, September 7, has been rescheduled due to a conflict with CHS's Curriculum Night.  The meeting will now be held Thursday, September 9, at 7:00 pm, in the CHS Band Hall.

Volunteers are needed now to help hand-out posters advertising the event to be held, Saturday, September 25.  Many hands make light work!  Please log-in and then click here for more details about this and other volunteer opportunities.
